Studio recording
Tracking for vocals, bands and instruments with an engineer at the desk.
- Hourly session$55 /hr
Two-hour minimum. Great for vocals and overdubs.
- Half-day block$200 /4 hrs
Enough time for one or two songs from start to rough mix.

The studio is yours for the day. Best for bands and EP sessions.

Booking terms
- A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves your session; the balance is due at the end of the session.
- Reschedule free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice.
- Session time starts at the booked time. Overtime is billed at the hourly rate in 30-minute increments.
- Project files are stored for 90 days after delivery. Longer archiving is available on request.
- Prices may change; the price confirmed in your booking email is the price you pay.

We keep contact and booking records for as long as needed to provide services and meet tax and legal requirements. Project files are kept for 90 days after delivery unless you request a longer archive or earlier deletion.

Your rights and choices

Bookings and payment
- A session is confirmed once we receive a 50% deposit. The deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled session.
- You may reschedule without charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or no-shows with less notice forfeit the deposit.
- The remaining balance is due at the end of each session, or before delivery for mixing, mastering and production work.
- We may withhold final files until all outstanding amounts are paid.
- Prices are listed on the Services page and may change. The price confirmed in writing for your booking applies.
Ownership of recordings
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, you own the master recordings and the copyright in your compositions once your account is paid in full. Xephora Audio retains ownership of its equipment, session templates, samples, presets and any original production work (such as custom beats) that is licensed rather than sold. Production and beat licenses are described in a separate written agreement.
You confirm that you own or have permission to use all material you bring to a session, including lyrics, samples and recordings, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Credits and promotion
We may list your artist name and project title in our client list and request a studio credit on releases. We will not share or publish the recordings themselves without your written consent.
File storage
We keep project files for 90 days after delivery. After that, files may be deleted without notice. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of delivered files.
Studio conduct
- You are responsible for any damage to studio property or equipment caused by you or your guests.
- Illegal drugs, weapons and disruptive behavior are not permitted. We may end a session early without refund if these rules are broken.
- Guests are welcome within reason; please let us know in advance if more than four people will attend.
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the full session.
Website use
Content on this website, including text, graphics and the Xephora Audio name and logo, belongs to Xephora Audio LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission. You agree not to misuse the website or interfere with its operation.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We provide our services with professional care, but creative results are subjective and we do not guarantee any commercial outcome, chart placement or approval by distributors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xephora Audio's total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Pendleton County, Kentucky.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page with its effective date applies to bookings made after that date.
